Is it in your opinion 'Phenomenal' that in America, we have one more choice to vote for than Soviet Russia?

Did our founders envision an America with only 2 parties to choose from (Yeah there is other parties, but none of them have the ability to win because the rules of the game make it so only a Republican or Democrat can win)
