DEBATE - Are men's ist jokes, jokes, or offensive ism?

Well lately there's been a lot of "get back in the kitchen" "make me a sandwich" jokes, and me and my friends were talking and some of them say they find the jokes offensive and it angers them, whereas i think its just a bit of friendly banter and girls shouldn't take it so seriously. I am a girl but i'll happily poke fun at myself and laugh along at these jokes. Opinions?
