Question for MEN only about a divorce...?

Recently my husband of 20 years has asked for a divorce. He has been wishy/washy about it and has even said he would try dating me, but that our marriage to him is dead. I really want the relationship to work. I went ahead and filed today, because I don't want him to think I won't give him what he needs or wants out of life. I did say that at any time if he wants to stop divorce proceedings and work on the marriage that I would stop. Is there anything else I can do? Thanks.
