My instructor's 5yo TB gelding she just bought is full of strongyles, and is colicking. He's not my horse, and he lives an hour away from me, so I'm not sure what the symptoms are now. It started out mild, but now he may be put down tonight. The vet has been out many times, and he has given him wormer (to help with the colic, there is something in it that helps. idk, I'm not a vet) and Banamine. It has been going on for 4-5 days. Is there anything at all that can save him? He's so young and beautiful!
