Why do nice guys (that have no backbone or create any spark) finish last?

why does a guy who is sweet, kind and caring get a woman to fancy him....he is a girl's dream...has money, tall, dark handsome....just oesnt light the fire...should I marry him based on his great attributes...he is husband material , I just dont get the spark when im with him..it feels like im dating my brother
