What do you think of the House of Night series?

The first book was good enough that I wanted to continue reading the other books of the series. I read the second book and thought it was okay, it was a little slow. I read the third book, hoping the pace would pick up and it would get interesting but I was sadly disappointed. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the series because each book only prolonged the series. It was slow and didn't keep my attention. I've read better series of books.
